Best EGO Mower: Every Model Compared

EGO makes battery lawn mowers in three cutting widths — 21", 22" and 30" — in push and self-propelled versions. All of them run on the same EGO 56V ARC Lithium batteries that power EGO trimmers, blowers and chainsaws. Here is how to pick the right one for your yard.

Push or self-propelled?

A push mower is lighter and cheaper, and is great for small, level lawns. A self-propelled EGO mower drives its own wheels, so you only steer — worth it on hills, thick grass or any yard that takes more than 20 minutes to cut. Model names ending in "SP" are self-propelled.

What deck size do you need?

  • 21": the most popular size; easy to store and turn around beds and trees.
  • 22": a bit wider for fewer passes on medium to large lawns.
  • 30": cuts big lawns much faster, ideal for half an acre and more.

Which battery should come with it?

A bigger battery (more Ah) means longer mowing per charge. For a self-propelled mower, a 7.5Ah or larger battery is a good choice for most yards. Read our EGO 56V battery guide for details.
