Better Than Expected
Never owned e-yard tools before, but didn't want to deal with the gas additives when we moved to new house. Even on Eco setting this machine handles 10-12" limbs like a breeze. Only down side so far is this one gets heavy after a bit, but I'm old too.

Tears it up
I went from the 18" it was great then it got stolen. So went to this and who would have known 2" makes such a difference ;) it feels dramatically better tho to use the full power the battery must be 7.5mah. I used the 12mah and it ran hard til the battery heated and stopped. To be fair it was over 90 degrees sunny and I made about a dozen stumps out of a moderately sized tree branch. It cut much easier due to actually being about as wide as the tree my previous chainsaw had to go through it twice to get both sides.

Easy to use, powerful, plug and play. Felled and cut up a large tree with very little difficulty. Battery takes longer to charge than I would like but performs better than I expected. Won’t be going back to gas powered saw.

Used it for about 90 mins, so far it's very good
Seeing as how I've only had this saw for about ten days and used it for about 90 minutes total, it's a bit premature to be giving a review beyond first impressions. The cutting speed is fine and it had no problem cutting 18 inch diameter oak logs, the battery lasts about as long as my 76-year-old body does, and I'm pleased with the machine so far. The button that needs to be pushed in combination with the throttle control to make the saw operate is a bit of a pain. If it has a lock position I haven't found it yet. A strip of duct tape works well to hold it in but I've seen better arrangements on other saws where the two sequential operations are more easily combined. Ask me again in a few months if I still like it.

I bought the 20” chainsaw and was hoping to completely avoid gas. My husqvarna was working fine but last few times it didn’t when I needed it. Just got sick of always tinkering with them and dealing with gas. Enter this chainsaw. I filled the bar oil to full and checked for proper chain tightness. I inserted the 56 bolt battery and fired it up. Started right up. No cord pull just instant power. Ok but how does it cut? Started with a downed tree about the circumference of my leg. I put it on the eco setting. Cut like butter. I had the entire thing cut up in under 2 minutes flat. I moved it to the second power setting and cut a bigger tree that was probably twice my leg size. Butter. Hmm, wonder what it can cut on full power? I found some large logs from a tree that I was cutting up. This thing was a bear hug in size and I cut it easily. So I buzzed through a bunch of them. Checked the battery meter and I hadn’t even used a bar yet. So impressed! I love an inanimate object and I don’t care who knows it. Buy this saw and never look back!
