I had a De-Walt blower that died after 2 years. I finally pulled the trigger and got an EGO blower. This is by far 5x better than the De-Walt. I used it three times over one weekend blowing leaves. First time I used turbo too much because of my excitement. After I recharged the battery round two was much longer on med / high with no turbo. It lasted easily 30 min before I was finished with the yard. I still had battery left so I started on the back yard. I ran out of juice and had to recharge again. Third round I just set the speed to medium and coasted to the finish line with 3/5 bars left on the battery. A+++ . I am excited to get more EGO products.
Wow, is it powerful! Very quiet compared to a gas powered blower. I wish the battery would last a little longer. I’ll probably just get another battery so I can get the job done all at one time. A strap would be a nice accessory. I’m 72 year-old grandma and sure having fun blowing my leaves this year. This is so easy to operate as far as taking the battery in and out and charging it and I love the turbo feature.
Great product! Powerful airflow! I like the ajustable speed option. I would like to have a longer runtime since my property is large, but I didn’t want more weight to handle with a larger battery. All in all, I am very satisfied.
I bought this last week open box stuck battery in charger nothing happened called company and went through troubleshooting process with tech on phone found out battery was defective. They got one to me within days. Very happy with service.
Likes: Plenty of power for blowing leaves, fir cones and fir needles. Variable speed is nice when blowing in delicate areas that I don't want to disturb.. Quality seems top notch. Price is affordable.
Dislikes: Run time is a bit short for my needs. Could use a shoulder strap to help with the weight
More than enough power for my 1/4 acre lot. The tool is very balanced with the 4.0Ah battery. The variable speed trigger is very responsive. Noise level is very acceptable. I am very happy with the performance, functionality and balance of this model.
I bought this to help me clean my eaves because I can’t get close enough dues to some bushes. I choose it hoping it would be powerful enough to send the debris flying. Well it did the job and almost sent me flying also. Note to self, three point contact is very important haha. Would definitely recommend and am now wishing I had of bought the blower and weed eater combo.
I bought this some time ago and so far really like this blower. The only issue I have presently is that it stopped working. EGO provided assistance in getting it repaired, awaiting results. I really like the power of the blower, only rating it down toa 4 because of it stopped working only after a couple seasons. I am sure EGO will ensure I am back up and running soon!
I needed to have a blower since my Stilh blower needed work AGAIN! So I went over to Lowe’s and got this one. Not only do I love it because it’s lightweight AND powerful but also quiet!! Battery lasts a long time and has 2 modes..high and low. My only regret is that I didn’t get one years ago….
Over all I am very happy with the blower. I love the adjustable air flow. Less for the flower beds and full force for the driveway. Even though it doesn't last as long as a gas blower, neither do I. So, I have adjusted my working time and am less achey. A win, win, situation for me.
Very powerful blower and the battery life is great. I already had an EGO weedeater so I was hopeful the blower would have the same quaysnd it did not disappoint!
Great except if it gets a surge of energy like something like a leaf gets in the turbine it will blow the circuit board as there is no fuse. I would look for something that has a replaceable fuse.
The blower is so easy to use and it's not as noisy as the gas one I did have. With the battery I have it lasts as long as I need it to last for the amount of yard I use it. The airflow is sufficient for the pine needles, it is easy to handle and works perfectly.
Unit performed quite well on the large parking lot job. The ability to use the battery from the lawn mower really helped since it required the extra run time to do my section. The only downside is the weight can be a little uncomfortable after an hour
This was purchased for 2 reasons - to replace a less powerful unit and to have all my electric devices on the same battery system. This has not disappointed me yet with the power, ease of use, and comfort. I bought the unit without a battery as I already had 3 EGO batteries and 2 charging units. The EGO lawn mower and chainsaw are also great units!
My old Ego blower of 10 years finally gave up. Of course I replaced it with another bigger Ego blower. I was worried it would be heavy and hard to use. However, so far so good. I not sure how I like the dial and the trigger. I prefer speed control with trigger. Overall solid blower and there’s the Ego reputation and performance.
I just bought the leaf blower and have used it a few times. So far it works great. It has lots of power. The battery lasted an hour or so. I didn’t use the turbo boost. I didn’t need it. The only thing I find is it is a little heavy with the 56V battery.
I bought this a month ago and I’m very satisfied with the quality and workmanship. The airflow and supplemental “turbo” setting provides more than enough power for my needs. I’ve only used it 15-30 minutes at a time to clear patios and walkways but there is no sign of battery depletion with that use. I’m looking forward to fall cleanup. Over time it feels a little heavy and I may consider the optional shoulder strap for bigger jobs. Overall a great purchase along with my EGO hedge trimmer.
