Good swap for leaving the gas behind
I finally made the change to battery string trimmer. Much research as I wanted a lighter weight trimmer that uses the same .095 string as my orange, white & black gas unit. I got the carbon shaft unit and must say, lighter does a great job as a string trimmer. Good power, wide cutting width can trim while Neibours are sleeping. I bought brush cutter for my gas unit and all is good! Would I recommend this Ego unit, yes absolutely!

Amazing butttt
Its great for a trimmer. Only down side after owning for 2 weeks is its a little heavy with the battery. Recommend a strap but other then that its perfect.

Awesome Strin Trimmer
This new string trimmer with the Powerload head and Carbon Fiber shaft is a great upgrade from my previous model that I purchased 2 years ago. Lightweight and powerful describes it completely.

Trimmer
I like it handles, I find two things wrong with it. One no guide edger for a straight cut and reloading the line is tedious.

Compact and powerful
I have always used gas trimmers but now we are moving into the city so I reluctantly decided to go electric. Very pleased with that decision-making It has the power to do the job and is quiet. After a few adjustments I now have it set up how I like it. The only thing I need now is the shoulder strap to take the strain off my arms and neck. .

Works great
I live in a rural property and could string trim for hours but the battery quits after 45 minutes. Time for a break. Handles every weed in its path.

Happy with the way the trimmer works and pleased at the amount of line that it uses for the amount of trimming I do .

Well Built and Lightweight
Second Ego product I purchased. I could not have more pleased. Trimmer is well constructed and should last for a number of years. I used the previous 2.5 mah battery I had and found this to be nice for weight issues. Trimmer line was a bit of trial and error the first time replacing the entire line and re-installing it. After learning how to do this, this should go much faster. The 16 inch cut is nice for cutting a larger area when needed. I had some higher grass and wanted to test it out and this trimmer cut through 8 inch high grass with ease. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a newer trimmer.

Great Trimmer
This trimmer is lightweight with plenty of power. It’s a snap to assemble. The real game changer is the power load feature. A push of a button and you’re set to go. No more hassling with changing spools.

First time
Took the plunge and bought one. It's a great machine! Snapping the handle on is intimidating though. It feels like you'll break it, but you won't lol! There are YouTube videos for assembly if you're worried about it. (that's what I did)

Powerful and light
Powerful, light and efficient trimmer. The only issue is it does not do edging very well. If the shaft could rotate and it had a swing down ground frame it would be a five star. A nice tool that complements our four year old eGo mower.
